I'm 49, not 50 Today
My son came home yesterday and told me that he told his friend I was going to be 50. His friend said, "She doesn't look 50!" I said to my son, "I'm only going to be 49, not 50. I have one more year before I hit the 50's, little man!"
Time sure does fly the older you get. I think we all know that. I'm not too excited about another year as far as aging goes, but I think life gets better and better otherwise. I think this has been one of the best birthdays yet. I'm in a good place. My kids are turning into fine young adults and I'm surrounded by good people.
Thank for the opportunity to make your acquaintance. I feel that I'd made many connections, friends, and associates. Even though we meet in a transactional situation, it is a pleasure to hear your story. I know that the donations are made in exchange, but I would also like to thank you for helping me to provide for my kids. I couldn't do it without you!
